In addition to my bug rock creations, I also paint on wood, slate,
tile, resin, plaster, glass, fabric...actually anything! This
category contains ornaments, pins,
seasonal items, t-shirts, and anything not "buggy".
Family
Name Rock
My first online order through my website! I
received a call from Melissa in Illinois who wanted this large stone as
a housewarming gift. Hibiscus flowers look so good as a border for the
script stlyle name. |
Grandchildren
Rocks
My second online order from Carol in New
Jersey. She will be placing them at her mother's gravesite. I thought
it was a great idea and they are so colorful as a group. |
Address
Rock
My hubby and I stole this rock
from friends who had it on the corner of their property with a
generic stenciled number only. While they were away, we painted,
sealed, and got it back as a surprise.

Japanese
Kanji Inspirational Series
Stones with just an inspirational word or asian symbol are beautiful
in their simplicity, so I paired the two together on a bright white
background for those like me who love the elegant style of Japanese
Kanji but also want to know the meaning and share with others. I know I
will be doing more of these. |

Jesus Fish
Ichthus (ΙΧΘΥΣ, Greek
for fish) is an
acronym, which is a word formed from the initial letters of the several
words in the name. It compiles to "Jesus Christ God's Son is Saviour"
in ancient Greek. |
Garden
Angel Rock
"Bless This Home" - A very pretty angel done with metallic paint for a
beautiful shine along with 3-D paint for the whimsical dots as a
border. Perfect for inside the home or out in the garden. |

Celtic
Style Cross
The celtic knots and designs intrigue me so I had to do a simple
version to enhance some beautiful and bright rainbow crosses. The
celtic knot is a continuous loop and the rainbow effect was done with
floro paints and some slight blending to mimic very slightly a tie-dye
effect. |

Asian Style Checkers
- This project was a commission for Keisha, a fellow vendor at
a
craft fair I did this year as a special gift for her son. He likes
playing checkers, has a great interest of asian culture, and his
favorite colors are black and red...hence, all combined to make this
unique set. This project took just under a month combining research,
supply shopping, and the actual painting. The board is on the reverse
of a beautiful 12x12 tile of black granite. The "checkers" are black
mexican beach pebbles painted in a set of black and red. The asian
characters are painted on one side and the yin yang symbol is painted
on the reverse. This was to date...the most challenging project I have
done!

Logo Rock
This rock was painted to be an exact match of Tyre Trak
Automotive Center's logo on their website that was recently
redesigned.
See the comparison by clicking on both images.
I have been told that the rock did not stay at the business, but now
resides on the fireplace mantle of the owner who is depicted in the
logo.

This rock was painted to replicate a 20 year old Putnam
Vocational

It was donated as a gift for their reunion raffle.
