News & Info | Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q - Where do you get your rocks?
A- Mainly from my favorite Rhode Island, Connecticut, or Maine beaches with big waves that make for smooth, flat, and round rocks. When my supply is low or the weather is inclement, I stop off at my favorite local garden center which allows me to dig in their big bins of river rocks.

Q - Can the rocks be displayed outside?
A - Yes, if it is a larger"garden" rock and was designed and protected for outside use. I put at least 2 coats of exterior protectant on all my rocks. The larger "garden" rocks meant for outside display receive at least 3 coats of exterior protectant to withstand cold, heat, and water. Prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight may weaken protectant or fade darker colors. It is recommended to place your SuzyBug rock in a manner that would protect it from prolonged contact with standing water (due to poor drainage or puddling) or extreme direct sunlight/heat to ensure best protection and longevity.

Q - How do I place a custom order or inquiry?
A - Until I get my Order page fully posted, please contact me to work out the details, timeframe, and pricing of a custom work request.  Once I obtain the info I need, I will provide you with the project cost and timeframe.  At that time, you can let me know if you still want to order.

Q - How much will shipping cost and how do you ship it?
A - If you are local to Springfield, MA, no cost for delivery.  If you are not local and order online, shipping costs depend on weight and size.  I will determine least expensive method to ship using USPS or FedEx and I'll e-mail you with the shipping cost before payment is required.

Q - What type of payments do you accept?
A - If you are local to Springfield, MA, I accept any form of verified payment.  If you are not local and require online order and shipping, I only accept Money Orders and Pay Pal.  Pay Pal is an online 3rd party that allows you to pay anyone with an e-mail address.  It's free to sign up and send money. You can use your credit card or have it come out of your checking account. For additional information on Pay Pal, go to their website.

If you have questions that were not addressed here, please contact me I will get back to you promptly.
